Firepower Nandina (Nandina domestica 'Firepower') is a dwarf, compact evergreen shrub that stays about 2 feet tall and wide. Its lime-green leaves turn bright red in fall and winter, giving you color when most of the garden is resting. It's great for borders, low hedges, mass plantings and containers, needs little to no pruning, and is deer resistant. Plant in full sun to partial shade in well-drained soil; more sun brings out the best red color. Hardy in USDA zones 6-10. Container grown in a 3-gallon pot and hand packed in central Louisiana.
