Our Story

Roger's Plant Nursery is a small, family-run nursery in central Louisiana, a few miles from Forest Hill, the "Nursery Capital of Louisiana." We grow the plants that do the hard work in a Southern yard: groundcovers like liriope, mondo grass and Asian jasmine, tough shrubs like dwarf yaupon holly, boxwood and juniper, native grasses, and the perennials that hummingbirds and butterflies come back for every year.

Everything we sell is container grown for its whole life, never dug from a field, so the roots are complete and the plant keeps growing the day you set it out. We pack every order by hand, ship it early in the week so it never sits over a weekend, and tuck a care card and a fertilizer sample into the box. If you have a question about a plant, before or after you buy, you're talking to the people who grew it.

We sell online with free shipping to the continental United States, and we sell wholesale for pickup to landscapers and garden centers across the region. Thanks for choosing plants grown here at home.
